The 28th edition of Film by the Sea will take place from 11 to 20 September 2026. For ten days, more than a hundred films from all over the world will be screened, supplemented by satellite programmes throughout Zeeland. The festival is the fourth largest film festival in the Netherlands and the biggest cultural event in the region. The festival makes high-quality cinema accessible to a broad and diverse audience, thereby stimulating new perspectives, dialogue and mutual connection.
